International & Duty Free Manager

Total Beverage Solution (TBS) is focused on growing its export business globally, and they are seeking an entrepreneurial individual for the International & Duty Free Manager role. This position involves identifying international markets, establishing relationships with export customers, and facilitating operational requirements for different countries.

Responsibilities

Identify highest potential international markets for the TBS portfolio
Establish relationships and contracts with export customers globally
Attend international trade shows (e.g. Wine Paris)
Facilitate operational and compliance requirements for different countries
Build a P&L that delivers sustainable, profitable growth
Where appropriate, work closely with TBS suppliers to facilitate export sales
Develop reciprocal relationships where TBS acts as importer for international suppliers, and then leverages those relationships to enter the Supplier's home market with proprietary brands
Develop outlets for occasional large-buy liquidations of slow moving stock

Required

3+ years beverage alcohol industry international / export management
6+ years beverage alcohol sales or marketing experience
Identify highest potential international markets for the TBS portfolio
Establish relationships and contracts with export customers globally
Attend international trade shows (e.g. Wine Paris)
Facilitate operational and compliance requirements for different countries
Build a P&L that delivers sustainable, profitable growth
Where appropriate, work closely with TBS suppliers to facilitate export sales

This role is U.S. based. Slight preference will be given to Charleston-based candidates, but it is not a requirement
Regardless of home location, the role requires up to 50% travel
This is a full-time salaried position
