Connect Staffing is seeking a Loan Assistant for one of its premier banking clients. The candidate will coordinate commercial lending transactions from approval through closing and funding, serving as a primary point of contact with outside counsel and internal lending teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate commercial loan closings from approval through funding

Prepare, assemble, and track loan closing packages and executed documents

Serve as a primary point of contact with outside counsel and internal lending teams

Coordinate disbursement of loan proceeds via wire, official check, or account credit

Process loan payoffs and payoff documentation

Respond to borrower and internal inquiries related to loan documentation and payments

Track and clear documentation exceptions and maintain organized loan files

Support multiple relationship managers and prioritize across active transactions

Handle confidential financial information with accuracy and discretion
