Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance and support on Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) policies and processes
Conduct and lead MSAM (Mission System Architecture Model) and NMAP (Network Management and Analysis Plan) reviews to ensure compliance and quality
Apply USCG (United States Coast Guard) and DHS (Department of Homeland Security) SELC frameworks to system development and integration efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, assess, and improve system architectures and designs
Support the development of technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in systems engineering throughout project lifecycles

Required

Proven expertise in Systems Engineering and recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
In-depth knowledge of SELC policy and its application within government agencies
Experience conducting MSAM and NMAP reviews
Familiarity with USCG and DHS SELC frameworks and compliance requirements
Certification at DAWIA Level III in Systems Engineering or INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum of 7 years of relevant systems engineering experience, preferably within government or defense sectors
