Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze global policy, legislative, and industry trends related to user privacy, youth safety, and platform liability
Shape product direction by anticipating regulatory change and translating early signals into clear priorities and strategic decisions
Develop a clear map of key external voices, including academics, civil society, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders, globally and in key regions, and understand their perspectives
Partner with product and external engagement teams to build credibility with critical stakeholders across regions
Ensure TikTok's compliance positioning and product roadmap reflect regulatory trends, societal expectations, and long-term user trust goals
Provide clear, high-quality insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and product teams, highlighting emerging risks, expectations, and opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above, with 5+ years of proven experience in Product Management, Public Policy, or Legal, within technology or social media industries
Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks in user privacy, youth safety, and platform governance
Proven ability to connect regulatory compliance with business and product strategy
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience engaging policymakers, regulators, or industry associations on policy or compliance topics
Knowledge of industry best practices and benchmark trends in youth safety and privacy
Ability to synthesize complex issues into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
Experience in shaping external narratives or public policy discussions
