The associate will work closely with senior attorneys providing comprehensive legal services to high-net worth individuals, families, and businesses, focusing on estate administration and legal document preparation.

Responsibilities
Preparing court filings, estate and fiduciary accountings, and tax returns
Assisting with estate administration tasks
Drafting and finalizing legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate plans
Conducting legal research on trust, estates, tax regulations, and relevant case law
Assisting with trust administration tasks
Communicating with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on case progress, and address inquiries
Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
Qualification
Required
At least four years of experience as a Trusts & Estates paralegal
Experience preparing court filings, estate and fiduciary accountings, and tax returns
Assisting with estate administration tasks
Drafting and finalizing legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate plans
Conducting legal research on trust, estates, tax regulations, and relevant case law
Assisting with trust administration tasks
Communicating with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on case progress, and address inquiries
Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
Experience with CT Probate administration and filing
Experience with trust accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Team player
Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude
Works well with colleagues and clients
Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced office
Strong attention to detail
Good judgment and decision-making ability
Notary public or willing to become one after hire
Preferred
Experience with New York Probate Court filing
