Responsibilities
Greets, collects and processes all incoming patients to gather the necessary demographic information required in accordance with all regulations and hospital policies to provide care for the patients, procure reimbursement verification from third parties, and maintain records appropriately
Has a willingness to be cross-trained and will float to other areas or departments if the need arises
Performs other clerical duties as assigned by the Imaging Services Director and / or Manager
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Demonstrates strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public
Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of various software applications
Familiarity with medical terminology
Preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care facility or related environment preferred, but not necessary
