Luxury Travel Sales Manager
Luxuria Vacations is a boutique luxury travel agency committed to crafting unforgettable, high-touch experiences for discerning U.S. clientele. The Luxury Travel Sales Manager will lead and scale the B2C luxury travel sales unit, focusing on refining sales processes, building a strong sales team, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead Outbound Sales: Directly manage, refine, and scale the outbound B2C sales process, focusing on warm leads, high-value conversion, and repeat client loyalty
Unit Profit Management: Monitor and manage the Luxuria unit's overall financial health and profitability. Review and control operating expenses to ensure targets for net operating profit are achieved
Strategic Goal Setting: Set and track ambitious sales targets (revenue, conversion rates, client satisfaction) in alignment with overall company growth goals
Sales Culture: Cultivate a high-performance sales culture centered on client trust, personalized, high-touch service, and securing long-term repeat business
Recruit & Mentor: Hire, train, coach, and develop a motivated sales team capable of scaling results while embodying a luxury service mindset
Performance Coaching: Mentor agents on the psychology of selling luxury service and experience, not just product features
Team Leadership: Serve as a charismatic, inspiring leader; run effective sales meetings, training sessions, and motivational initiatives to maintain high energy and performance
Accountability: Instill a culture of accountability and continuous improvement while fostering a supportive and thriving environment for the team
Process Improvement: Identify gaps and rebuild/refine internal processes, systems, and structures specifically for the sales function (e.g., CRM utilization, sales funnel optimization, post-sale service hand-off)
Service Delivery: Ensure the business consistently delivers an exceptional, high-touch service experience worthy of a luxury brand
Reporting: Work closely with the VP/Head of Growth to provide regular, insightful reports on sales performance, profitability, and operational health
Luxury Authority: Bring a deep, nuanced understanding of U.S. luxury clients—their needs, habits, and expectations—to inform sales strategy
Market Insight: Stay abreast of trends in luxury travel and high-net-worth service to maintain the brand’s credibility and cultural awareness
Qualification
Required
5+ years of success leading outbound B2C phone sales teams in a relationship-driven, high-value service industry
Direct experience selling to/serving a U.S. luxury clientele
Demonstrated ability to manage a business unit's profitability, understanding the relationship between sales, operations, and net operating profit
Hands-on and highly intuitive, with experience in a start-up or 'rebuilding' environment where process development, documentation, and system scaling were a primary focus
Track record of successfully recruiting, training, motivating, and developing top-performing sales professionals
High charisma, energy, and presence; you inspire team members to perform at their best
A strong 'figure it out factor'—a problem solver who can balance strategic vision with immediate, effective execution
Preferred
Background in luxury travel is strongly preferred, or demonstrated deep knowledge of global destinations and high-touch service standards
