Responsibilities
Works as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment
Plans, prioritizes, and manages clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases by completing initial biopsychosocial assessments and orientation for new consumers; will also develop and implement personalized treatment plans with clients on the caseload, and determine appropriate specialized treatment for clients as needed
Attends in-service trainings for staff and completes required trainings in a timely manner while assisting with the collection of TOMS and QOC surveys, as assigned
Organizes, leads, and/or participates in committees that plan, develop, and/or monitor Regional Behavioral Health Operations
May be required to perform other duties as necessary, including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities
Qualification
Required
A master's degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus four years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling
A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling
Knowledge of supervisory practices
Knowledge of appropriate clinical interventions
Knowledge of operational practices of the clinic
Experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling
Licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
