Responsibilities

Support the development, execution, and monitoring of budgets for assigned programs, projects, and program elements (PEs)
Track and report the status of funds, including commitments, obligations, and expenditures, to ensure efficient resource utilization
Input and maintain financial data in government information technology systems and prepare fund document approval requests
Prepare detailed and summary reports of financial data and provide analysis to support decision-making for the client’s leadership
Analyze and interpret financial policies and regulations, providing guidance and advising leadership on financial management theories and practices
Communicate with government personnel, customers, and financial systems personnel to resolve issues and ensure accurate financial processes
Assist with various stages of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and analyze submissions for assigned programs

Required

2 years of experience with federal or defense financial management, including knowledge of budget development, execution, and financial systems
Ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends and discrepancies
Skills in using government financial systems and creating presentations using PowerPoint
Secret clearance required
Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information technology, or computer related discipline or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Level Clearance, per Government requirements
Experience supporting Federal Financial Management business operations
Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
