THE PIG Hotel is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Finance Team at the Head Office in Lyndhurst. The role involves supporting the Head of FP&A with analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and investor reporting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly insight reporting processes to ensure timely and efficient reporting for the following:
Monthly reporting packs to our PE partners
Quarterly board reporting
Support Operations teams and Senior Management with financial insight on operational decisions
Business Partner Hotel Directors, providing clear understanding of monthly numbers, support with specific queries and provide financial insight for specific decisions. Including but not limited to:
Staffing cost analysis
F&B proposition analysis
Pricing elasticity analysis
Coordination and delivery of the annual budget process
Support Hotels and Revenue Director with the regular forecasting process
Design and implement a focussed KPI reporting approach
Own the BI system ensuring integrity and allowing efficient and easy ad hoc reporting and analysis
Involvement in Business cases for potential investment in new hotels and growth projects
Involvement in the Annual 5 Year Plan process

Qualification

ACCAACA qualifiedAdvanced Microsoft ExcelFP&A experienceBI systems knowledgePowerPoint skillsProblem-solving initiativeCollaborative teamwork

Required

ACCA or ACA qualified
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel – strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
Taking ownership, can work autonomously and being able to work to deadlines
Ability to tell the story of the numbers with strong Powerpoint and presentation skills
Proven ability to work on own initiative to solve problems with a commitment to continuous improvement
Collaborative and prepared to work with the wider team to deliver key priorities

Preferred

Big 4 experience would be advantageous
Previous experience in a FP&A or commercial finance role is desirable
Experience of Private Equity environments is desirable but not essential
Previous knowledge of working with BI systems would be desirable
