Responsibilities

Ensuring that military packaging is developed and documented according to the processes outlined in Military Standards, e.g., MIL-STD-2073-1D, MIL-STD-2073-1E w/Change 4, MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-3010, and Commercial Packaging Standards, ASTM-D3951 and ATA SPEC 300
Conducting packaging validation tests and inspections to ensure compliance with the standards
Utilizing appropriate instrumentation to measure the effectiveness of the packaging design
Reviewing packaging cases to ensure compliance with contract preservation, packaging and marking, preservation codes, correct specification packaging material, packing levels, Unit-intermediate and shipping container items, bar code and special marking (Shelf-life, Hazmat and ESD)
All other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma
This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum)
Ensuring that military packaging is developed and documented according to the processes outlined in Military Standards, e.g., MIL-STD-2073-1D, MIL-STD-2073-1E w/Change 4, MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-3010, and Commercial Packaging Standards, ASTM-D3951 and ATA SPEC 300

Microsoft Word, Excel
Knowledge of AES filling processes
US military logistics experience
Understanding of Military packaging requirements experience
Hazardous Materials handling
