Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle accounting (A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, month-end close)
Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax filings, and agricultural co-op/retail regulations
Lead and develop a small office team (2-4 staff)
Optimize AgVance for inventory, grain settlements, customer accounts, and reporting
Streamline office administration, filing systems, and internal controls
Collaborate with agronomy, sales, and operations teams on cost analysis and profitability
Qualification
Required
Agriculture (retail, co-op, grain, or agronomy operations)
AgVance Software (hands-on daily use - invoicing, inventory, reporting)
Supervising (direct reports in office or retail setting)
Office Administration (workflow management, documentation, compliance)
Accounting Processes & Filing (A/P, A/R, reconciliations, audit prep)
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Ag Business (preferred)
Experience with agricultural lending, patronage, or equity redemption
Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP systems
Ability to thrive in a rural, customer-facing environment
