They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst for Financial Planning & Analysis to drive financial planning and analysis functions, advise the CFO, and collaborate with management to improve financial performance.

Responsibilities

Act as a crucial advisor to the CFO and senior management team, driving the financial planning and analysis function of the company
Lead the development of short and long-term financial plans, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives
Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities; provide actionable insights to guide decision-making
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all departments
Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators, comparing actual results with forecasts, and investigating variances to understand underlying business drivers
Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while capitalizing on opportunities
Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively to the CFO, senior management, and non-finance stakeholders
Collaborate with and help mentor the Accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth
Work closely with the Accounting team to accomplish shared goals
Translate complex questions into data-driven analyses to allow leaders to make informed decisions
Conduct analysis around product profitability, pricing, ROI of investments
Maintain per subscriber and unit economics of company revenue streams
Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and metrics
Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives

Required

3-5+ years' experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Senior level proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Excellent leadership and team development skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
High intellect and strong analytical skills
Innovative and driven to constantly improve
Non-bureaucratic, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment
