SoloPoint Solutions is seeking a versatile Electrical Engineer with a strong foundation in circuit design and a proactive approach to project ownership. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in PCB layout and a comprehensive understanding of integrated power and control systems.

Responsibilities

Designing electronic circuits
Working with projects that have serial communication controls, CAN, or other serial type of integrated firmware
System understanding of power / control systems; understanding how to design a circuit AND how it works upstream and downstream
Time management and project management
Collaborative and communication. Able to reach out to get information (take initiative)
Willing to wear different hats and helping every team (SMT and Sourcing)
Ability to utilize schematic capture and PCB layout applications (preferably PADS) to create and verify designs

Required

BSEE / BSEET
Altium/PADS software
Designing electronic circuits
If no control experience, then preferably something applicable such as power supplies or motor drivers
Working with projects that have serial communication controls, CAN, or other serial type of integrated firmware
System understanding of power / control systems; understanding how to design a circuit AND how it works upstream and downstream
Time management and project management
Collaborative and communication. Able to reach out to get information (take initiative)
Willing to wear different hats and helping every team (SMT and Sourcing)
Ability to utilize schematic capture and PCB layout applications (preferably PADS) to create and verify designs

Preferred

Designing with microcontrollers will be a plus
Simulation software
AI
Familiarity with requirements and regulations (SAE, ECE, FMVSS)
