Control Systems Commissioning Engineer II
KNAPP North America is a global company specializing in automated solutions for logistics and supply chain management. The Control Systems Commissioning Engineer II will oversee the completion of tasks and responsibilities to ensure successful system startup and operation at customer sites, including installation, configuration, and performance testing of control systems.

Responsibilities
Preparation of projects in the office
Creation of the control systems control program
Installation, configuration, and commissioning of the system on-site
Performance of system component and system overall performance tests
Support to the development department if new products or stations are developed
Testing and function verification of electrical control cabinets
Verification and acceptance testing of pre-assembled stations and machines
Electrical installation and support if requested or necessary
Troubleshooting of electrical issues on-site
Creation and correction of electrical schematics of the installation based on the final installation on-site
Training of Customer/on-site maintenance personnel
Training of new Control Systems Commissioning Engineers in office and on-site
On-site customer service (hotline) support
Remote customer service support for existing customers
Customer service interventions on-site
Remote support, if required
Alignment with safety requirements at the jobsite
Coordination of daily job duties/tasks on-site with the Customer and project teams
Continuous updating and sharing of technical notes (Knowledge Data Base)
Technical point of contact of the assigned project
Performance of quality checks on-site
Preparation and review of daily and weekly reports
Regular check and maintenance of project milestones
Train and guide maintenance technicians
Train new Control Systems Commissioning Engineers
Manage a team of Control Systems Commissioning Engineers at the installation sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field required
Intermediate knowledge of control systems
Intermediate knowledge of PLC control systems (Siemens or Allen Bradley)
Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems
Intermediate knowledge of Knapp procedures and processes
Experience with project procedures
Knowledge of computer systems and Windows
Authorized to work in the U.S
Passport or ability to obtain a passport
