Responsibilities
Support the Benefits Manager with day-to-day benefits administration and projects
Help build and maintain a user-friendly employee benefits intranet
Track and reconcile benefits-related invoices and maintain organized records
Document and improve benefits processes and procedures
Maintain compliance trackers, calendars, and audit documentation
Coordinate and provide on-site support for benefits events and vendor sessions
Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required (recent graduates encouraged) in HR, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
Strong interest in employee benefits and HR operations
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
Creative, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive mindset and ability to approach tasks from both a business and employee perspective
Ability to work independently while partnering closely with the Benefits Manager
Employment eligibility to work with BBVA in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
Preferred
Internship, coursework, or academic projects related to HR or benefits preferred
Spanish proficiency is a plus
Familiarity with HR systems (particularly ADP WFN) or intranet tools a plus, but not required
