Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, outlining the dining experience
Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience
Take guest orders and describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods
Ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience
Make food or drink recommendations/suggestions, confirm allergies or preferences and ensure information is captured and facilitated accurately to kitchen team and POS system
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen
Perform additional side duties including breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, silverware preparation, and other tasks or projects as assigned by management
Utilize the resort's computer system ringing up sales, print checks, close checks and complete closing reading
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Provide an in-depth knowledge of the restaurant, resort and surrounding area
Qualification

1-2 year servers experience in a fast-paced high-end restaurant setting required
Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40lbs
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
Preferred
The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request
Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
