Responsibilities
Answering the phones, timely booking of appointments, and calling to confirm appointments
Portraying a positive image and engaging in professional and friendly communications with clients to meet their needs in a timely manner
Complete requisitions and submit them to the dentist
Maintain and submit monthly reports as requested by the dentist
Maintain patient’s HIPAA rights and confidentiality
Communicate message(s) to other staff in a dependable, clear, and efficient manner
Facilitate day-to-day operation of the MBCHD Dental Clinic under the management of the Dentist
Work in partnership with Business Support Analyst to manage insurance payments
Performs additional professional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required
Preferred
Three years of general office or administrative experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong computer and internet skills required MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Previous customer service experience in a healthcare setting, verifying patient information and scheduling appointments
