Responsibilities
Maintain and support our z/VSE operating system and subsystems (CICS, POWER, VTAM, etc.)
Manage and support third-party products (EPIC, BIM-EDIT, FAQS/PCS, etc.)
Troubleshoot system-level issues and performance bottlenecks
Support our Lifecomm policy administration system at the infrastructure level
Write and maintain system utilities and exits in HLASM
Handle system IPLs, patches, and upgrades
Perform capacity planning and system tuning
Collaborate with vendor support when needed
Document systems and procedures
Respond to compliance and security requests
Qualification
Required
Holds a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
Has 10+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years supporting mainframe environments
Is known for their ability to diagnose and resolve complex system problems
Stands out for their strong Assembler programming skills
Demonstrates expertise with z/VSE subsystems (CICS, POWER, VTAM)
Is recognized for their attention to detail and critical thinking
