Responsibilities
Support Computer Vision Projects
Assist in the development, training, and evaluation of computer vision models for veterinary diagnostic applications
Conduct experiments under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring rigorous testing and documentation
Contribute to Data Engineering
Help maintain and improve basic data pipelines for data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation
Model Deployment and Integration
Participate in model deployment processes, including testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a production environment
Work closely with software engineers to integrate computer vision solutions into larger systems or applications
Continuous Learning and Collaboration
Proactively seek feedback and mentoring from senior scientists and team leads
Stay current with emerging deep learning techniques, tools, and industry trends
Present findings and results in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Adhere to Best Practices
Follow clean code and version control guidelines to maintain high-quality project repositories
Document key processes and learnings for future reference and knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of deep learning principles and hands-on experience with frameworks like PyTorch
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, model development, and scripting
Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
Awareness of software development best practices (version control, clean code principles)
Strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Team player who can work collaboratively with senior data scientists, engineers, and domain experts
Preferred
Familiarity with Azure Cloud services for data storage or model deployment
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) or CI/CD pipelines
