Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals
Own the full application lifecycle, ensuring stability, scalability, security, and compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities

Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in software development and delivery for enterprise-level applications
5+ years of experience in full stack Java-based technologies and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
3+ years of hands-on experience with application ownership responsibilities (incident management, upgrades, compliance)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience
This is an onsite role
This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment
Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected
In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Prior experience in the financial services industry
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance (PCI, SOX)
