Work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results
Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables our sites to achieve peak performance
Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the customer
Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements
Participate in management circles

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent
0-4 years of experience in distribution or logistics
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent work experience
Basic concept of a warehouse operation (inbound, put away, pick, pack, ship)
Capable of using AutoCAD and making layout changes
Familiar with basic concept of continuous improvement and can identify low hanging fruit opportunities within an operation
Performs GEMBA walks with operations team
Can perform a time study and convert it to meaningful data
Can use flowcharting software and can outline process steps
Learning to communicate / interact with outside organizations (vendors, customers, and government)
Utilizes conventional or routine approaches to problem-solving but shows the ability to think beyond the obvious solutions
Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, operators, and support functions for problem solving
Capable of identifying a problem
Strengthen communication skills across various levels within the organization
Able to gain understanding of processes to identify areas of opportunity
Preferred
Experience with distribution, logistics, project management
Some knowledge of Industrial Engineering
