Responsibilities
Prospect and acquire new merchant accounts (SMBs, local business, or targeted verticals)
Educate business owners on payment processing solutions
Present pricing and close new accounts
Build and manage your own pipeline and portfolio
Maintain merchant relationships to support long-term retention
Work independently while collaborating with support teams
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in merchant services, payments, POS, Saas, or B2b sales, or payroll, HR
Self-motivated, independent, and entrepreneurial mindset
Comfortable with cold outreach and relationship-based selling
Strong communication and closing skills
Ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline
Preferred
Existing book of business or referral network is a plus, but willing to train the right person
