Responsibilities
Monitor and support IoT cloud connectivity for products
Design and maintain secure remote access, firewall, and routing configurations
Work with IoT carriers and hardware vendors on design and troubleshooting
Detect and reduce data overages and connectivity issues
Improve performance in areas with poor LTE or congested Wi-Fi
Recommend and validate router software, firmware, and configuration updates
Troubleshoot IoT connectivity issues across LTE, cloud (AWS), devices, and software
Collaborate with customers and internal teams on network challenges
Analyze performance trends and drive continuous improvement
Establish processes for qualifying field and manufacturing changes
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve performance, cost, and customer experience
Act as the technical owner for IoT and Wi-Fi decisions
Deliver measurable improvements in scalability and reliability
Define tools and metrics for monitoring IoT and Wi-Fi performance
Mentor others and promote technical excellence
Understand product-to-cloud communication flows
Improve connectivity with tablets and peripheral devices while simplifying user experience
Diagnose field issues using logs, data, and critical thinking
Communicate clearly with engineers, support teams, field service, and customers
Improve support workflows through tools, automation, and process improvements
Qualification
Required
