Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and send patient invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Calculate patient responsibility amounts based on insurance explanations of benefits (EOBs)
Respond to patient inquiries regarding invoices, balances, and payment options
Work closely with internal billing, insurance, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and documentation in billing systems
Assist with payment posting, follow-ups, and account reconciliation as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of patient responsibility, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Comfortable working with billing software and Microsoft Office tools
Preferred
Previous experience in medical billing, patient accounting, or revenue cycle management
