In this role, you will be a key partner to the project management team, maintaining accurate financial records across multiple projects and ensuring smooth financial operations from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit AIA documentation for owner billings, including all required support
Review and process subcontractor payment applications
Review and enter owner billings, job budget modifications, subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, and related items
Maintain all accounting records in an accurate and timely manner
Monitor and assemble subcontractor and vendor invoices, insurance certificates, releases, and compliance materials
Ensure all contract compliance requirements are met
Audit and reconcile job cost details and update job budgets
Assist with project close-out
Prepare in-house payroll
Prepare sales tax returns
Manage month-end close, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Maintain the general ledger

Qualification

Construction accounting experienceAIA documentationProcoreSpectrumExcelAccounting degree

Required

Minimum 2-year degree in Accounting or a related field
At least 2 years of proven construction accounting experience, including AIA documentation
Ability to work onsite as required for the hybrid schedule

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
Experience with Procore, Spectrum, and Excel
