Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers

Guide the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions

Produce a comprehensive technical inventory of existing integrations, services, and dependencies

Foster a collaborative and innovative development environment

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals

Evaluate existing code, tools, and documentation to assess upgrade/remediation and migration paths

Hands-on development using Java, Spring boot, TomEE, Angular, and related technologies

Hands-on expertise with AWS services like Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and Terraform

Contribute to the design and architecture of software applications

Utilize SQL for effective database interactions and data retrieval

Design and implement database schemas, queries, and stored procedures

Leverage expertise in TomEE for developing and deploying enterprise Java applications

Ensure seamless integration of Java applications with TomEE

Utilize Rally (or similar project management tools) for planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines

Demonstrate expertise in Data Stage for efficient ETL processes

Integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and consistency

Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to deliver reliable software

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions

Identify and address potential challenges in the development process

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fields

7+ Years Experience with hands-on Development and 2+ years as a Technical Lead in Java development projects

Strong proficiency in Java, TomEE, SQL, Spring Framework, and related technologies

Hands-on expertise with AWS services like Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and Terraform

Experience with Rally or similar project management tools

Strong knowledge of SQL for database interactions

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Preferred

Good knowledge in Data Stage is preferred

Expertise in Data Stage for ETL processes and data integration is preferred
