Start in 2026 SummerFenner Precision Polymers has an exciting internship opportunity with the Maintenance Team. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will perform scheduled maintenance activities, diagnose and repair equipment failures, and maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment
Diagnose and repair equipment failures
Determine material required for necessary repairs
Utilize skills and knowledge in performance of daily repairs (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic of processing equipment)
Follow all procedures such as lockout/tagout and safety procedures
Complete all jobs in and orderly manner
Wear the required PPE at all times
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition
Shadow machine maintenance and facilities maintenance at different plants
Troubleshoot issues with production equipment though the PLC programs
Qualification
Required
One year completed at a technical college or one year completed at a CTC/vocational school
Must have mechanical and electrical skills
Technical skills are the foundation of maintenance competency
Problem-solving, communication, time management and teamwork
Preferred
PLC and drives experience
