Responsibilities

Lead, with limited direction, the daily operations of DC
Responsible for the receiving and shipping of finished goods, bulk cheese, corrugated ingredients, and miscellaneous supplies
Responsible for effective utilization of equipment, labor and materials
Promote partner safety, training and development
Assists with establishing and implementing distribution standards
Focus on customer service levels in areas of shortages, product damage, truck turn time, invoice order fill rates and aged inventory
Assures compliance with company and governmental standards and regulations of safety, sanitation and housekeeping within all distribution areas
Build a sound relationship with other Distribution Centers and Supply Chain Management Team
Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position
Perform all PCP checks required for position
Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL
Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product
Record accurate data on production reports

Required

High School Diploma – G.E.D
Proven leadership experience in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Ability to make good business decisions quickly
Satisfactory complete Forklift training and maintain forklift operator license
Satisfactory complete all Job Specific Safety Training including LOTO and JHA
Satisfactory complete 3–5-week training checklist and meeting the requirements
Proficient in distribution operations – order picking up to 50Lb cases
Data entry and cycle counting post pick with required inventory adjustments in Invio/Hive
Understanding of the RF unit, how to read, data entry and use to perform duties
Outbound building loads for shipment, ensuring customer specific requirements are met
Vendor Receipts including entering critical data and reconciling vendor BOL quantities and weights to Invio/Hive PO information
Re-distribution - Accurate receipt of product and understanding of customer requirements
Proficient in GMP's and all QSP's concerning distribution
Complete understanding and the ability to communicate food safety requirements
Maintain Food Safety training and certification
Understanding of the legal requirements of a Bill of Lading
Ability to complete Over Short and Damage paperwork with an Inbound finished goods load
Working knowledge and safe operation of all Distribution Center equipment
Operate in a 35-38 degree environment
Maintains proper rotation of products within the Bulk Cheese, Finished Goods and Dry Storage warehouses
Moves product or material to ensure ITPs accuracy for ingredients, film, and corrugated
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Must be able to work overtime
Other duties as assigned by TL/TA
Ability to learn and operate computerized data entry systems (Invio)
Must be viewed as a team player (by partners in current work areas)
Ability to read and write legibly
Proficient in math skills will allow you to accurately process customer orders
Must have prior forklift experience (6 months minimum) warehouse type PIV's
Must be able to become power equipment operator certified and keep that certification on-going
Must pass WPT-R, Office Technical, and PCI testing
This is an interview position
English speaking/reading requirement in positions that require comprehension of the English language
