Responsibilities
Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts around the globe
Prepare detailed financial analysis to assist clients evaluating international acquisition decisions
Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management in various locations / cultures to acquire and assess important information for financial analysis
Assist with development and review of financial reports to determine quality of historical earnings and assets and liabilities to be acquired
Analyze financial statements to determine sustainability of performance
Determine EBITDA and working capital adjustments that consider GAAP, pro forma information, and non-recurring items
Assist in preparing global project proposals and engagement letters
Organize various international projects against deadlines and manage time effectively
Qualification
Required
Analytical ability to identify variances and research issues
Ability to identify opportunities to improve accounting processes / procedures, reducing costs and / or improving profitability
Ability to analyze financial records and comment on their compliance with GAAP
Conducting special analyses and generating reports
Technology skills including those required to be proficient with financial accounting systems including Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Promote positive working relationships with diverse personalities/roles at all levels in the firm
