This hybrid role supports corporate accounting and financial reporting activities within a publicly traded environment, including general ledger management, monthly close, SEC reporting support, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities
Maintain the corporate general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to support internal reporting and external disclosures
Prepare audit-ready workpapers and support SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, in coordination with internal and external auditors
Assist with documentation, testing, and ongoing compliance with internal control over financial reporting under SOX 404
Partner cross-functionally to improve accounting processes, support budgeting activities, and enhance reporting accuracy
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, SEC filings, and internal controls, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience: 2+ years of public or corporate accounting experience in a publicly traded environment, with real estate or complex entity exposure preferred
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with public company reporting cycles, audit processes, and SOX compliance frameworks
