Liquidity and Financial Market Risk Analyst (Professional)

The Liquidity & Financial Market Risk Analyst will support the Treasury & Liquidity functions and be responsible for cash flow forecasting, liquidity risk management, and producing analytics to support decision-making in the Capital Markets business.

Responsibilities
Support the Treasury & Liquidity functions within the Capital Markets business
Execute the firm’s Cash Flow Forecasting processes and produce liquidity & debt funding analytics to support liquidity risk management
Ensure liquidity metrics adhere to Management, Board, and FHFA Limits through daily reporting
Partner and build relationships with the Capital Markets Treasury and Liquidity trading desks to understand their needs and provide reporting and analysis to support their roles
Produce daily and monthly analytics, including reporting on risk exposure, treasury activity and P&L
Calculate and allocate Funds Transfer Pricing to applicable business units to support decision making
Create funding forecasts used to project the comprehensive income of the firm under various scenarios, including the annual Dodd-Frank Act Stress Test (DFAST)
Interact with technology partners and drive continuous enhancements to processes
Develop enhanced analytics and reporting to manage the firm’s liquidity risk
Collaborate with the Asset & Liability Management trading desk to support better business decision making
Prepare daily reporting, and provide support for enhancements to current reporting and analytics
Assist with ad hoc business analysis in response to changes in market conditions, regulations, business/capital strategy
Build framework to support ongoing analysis related to explaining and forecasting product level P&L
Analyze the sensitivity of financial results to interest-rate and funding spread changes and other market factors
Prepare presentations delivered to senior management, the Board of Directors, and FHFA
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fixed income, mortgage or financial services, and/or financial analysis
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and aptitude to learn other software (i.e. SQL, Power BI)
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
Ability to multi-task and provide analysis under tight deadlines
