Senior Human Resources Business Partner
CFS is a well-established organization seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while enhancing HR operations and compliance. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR resource for supervisors seeking guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation
Provide support on disciplinary actions, investigations, and sensitive employee matters
Assist with benefits‑related questions and updates, including new program rollouts
Develop, revise, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with organizational standards
Ensure consistent application of policies across the company
Stay current on new laws, regulations, and compliance trends; proactively advise leadership on upcoming changes
Support compliance testing for the 401(k) plan and other regulatory requirements
Lead or support recruiting efforts across the organization, ensuring a structured and professional hiring process
Partner with supervisors to define role requirements and support candidate selection
Support labor relations activities, including interactions with union representatives
Assist with wage proposals, contract modifications, and understanding contract language
Participate in union negotiations and ensure HR compliance with collective bargaining agreements
Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and processes meet required standards
Maintain strong HR governance practices and ensure readiness for periodic reviews
Lead training and development initiatives, including new hire onboarding and supervisor development programs
Create curriculum, resource guides, and training materials, including ESTA policy education
Develop and deliver a new supervisor training class to strengthen leadership capability
Maintain a structured, well‑organized HR environment that reflects the company’s operational discipline
Ensure HR processes are consistent, documented, and aligned with best practices
Collaborate with leadership to support organizational planning and workforce needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree, with 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a structured or highly regulated environment
Strong understanding of labor relations, union environments, and contract administration
Demonstrated experience in recruiting, employee relations, and HR compliance
Experience writing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and influence supervisors and leaders
Experience with audits, training development, and benefits administration is highly valued
Ability to stay current on HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
