Responsibilities
Act as the go-to Senior Underwriter for complex residential mortgage and consumer loan submissions
Analyze income, debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value metrics, and other financial criteria to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines
Provide a clear synopsis of loan strengths and weaknesses, summarizing findings for stakeholders
Collaborate closely with Mortgage Advisors, Processors, Closers, and Loan Servicing teams to facilitate smooth and compliant loan processing
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in underwriting or related roles (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
