Responsibilities
Evaluate complex transactions for proper GAAP treatment
Support 10-K and 10-Q filings with technical analysis and documentation
Research and implement new accounting standards (e.g., Disaggregation of Expenses, Environmental Credits)
Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Treasury, and operational teams
Communicate technical conclusions and financial impacts to leadership and auditors
Lead or participate in cross-functional projects focused on new standards and emerging business initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
8+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
Deep knowledge of GAAP; familiarity with SEC reporting for public companies
Experience applying technical accounting guidance to new or complex transactions
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical issues to non-accounting audiences
Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Public accounting background (Big 4 or large firm) + industry experience ideal
