Business Development Manager
Sales Hatch is partnering with a well-established commercial facilities services provider to hire a Business Development Manager focused on new business growth across the Northern Charlotte market. The role is responsible for driving new revenue by prospecting, developing, and closing commercial clients across various industries.
Responsibilities
Develop and grow a pipeline of new commercial clients within an assigned Northern Charlotte territory
Prospect and engage decision-makers through cold outreach, networking, and in-person meetings
Conduct face-to-face presentations with executives, facility leaders, and influencers
Utilize a consultative sales approach to uncover needs and develop value-based service solutions
Prepare and respond to RFPs, including pricing, proposals, and formal presentations
Manage sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting using CRM tools (Salesforce)
Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client success
Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to build brand presence and relationships
Qualification
Required
7–10 years of successful B2B service sales experience
Proven history of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas (5+ years preferred)
Strong prospecting skills with experience opening net-new accounts
Experience selling complex or recurring services in a consultative environment
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with operations and support teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience preparing and responding to RFPs
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening
