Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily information security operations across Security Operations, GRC, and Security Engineering
Act as the CISO’s designated operational authority, providing leadership coverage, execution oversight, and incident coordination
Serve as the escalation point for cybersecurity incidents, guiding investigation, remediation, and reporting
Direct vulnerability management, configuration management, and patching activities
Maintain and enhance security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with NIST, CIS, FFIEC, and GLBA
Lead preparation for audits, regulatory exams, and risk assessments, including remediation tracking
Manage the enterprise security risk register and associated mitigation plans
Develop dashboards and metrics to communicate security posture, risk, and performance to leadership
Provide security architecture guidance and oversee identity and access management (IAM) governance
Partner with IT, business leaders, auditors, regulators, and vendors to drive security outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of professional experience in information security, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Experience leading or coordinating teams across security operations, GRC, and security engineering
Strong knowledge of incident response, threat management, vulnerability management, IAM, and cloud security
Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, FFIEC, and GLBA
Experience with tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, cloud security platforms, and IAM solutions
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
