Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of software products, with a minimum of intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to use a diplomatic approach with customers
Able to function at a high level in a demanding environment
Willing and able to work additional hours as needed and approved by management (i.e. during the month-end close process)
Preferred
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access
Experience working in an Accounting capacity in the Healthcare industry
Experience with financial grant reporting, including knowledge of current regulations from the United States Office of Management and Budget (OMB)
