Responsibilities

Operate and maintain process equipment and building utilities across paint, body-in-white, and assembly areas
Troubleshoot and program PLCs and other manufacturing equipment
Manage utilities such as power, water, HVAC, and air systems
Perform electrical and mechanical building maintenance, including pneumatics and related systems
Ensure proper operation of cranes, hoists, and supporting equipment
Service chemical treatment programs and maintain required documentation
Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities
Direct contractors/vendors and commission new systems into existing controls
Drive modernization, continuous improvement, and maintain spare parts inventory
Communicate effectively with production teams, enforce safety compliance, and provide technical support

Required

High School diploma or GED required
Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record (DMV check required)
Minimum 3 years of experience in process equipment and facilities maintenance, or equivalent training/experience
Ability to work in moderate to heavy conditions and all weather environments
Experience with PLC, BMS, or other logic platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)
Skilled in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, water systems, air houses, plumbing, and building construction
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with basic electrical/electronics knowledge
Familiarity with industrial power distribution systems, controls, and safety precautions
Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift on hard surfaces in a production environment
Frequent use of hands for handling tools, assembling components, and operating machinery. Requires fine motor skills and grip strength
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 10–50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. with assistance
Routine reaching above shoulders, bending, and twisting waist, and squatting as part of process and tasks
Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movements for tasks such as fastening, positioning, and installing
Occasional use of steps to access different height level areas
Must wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, protective sleeves, eye and hearing protection) as per company safety standards
