Start in 2026 WinterNEOGOV is seeking a Road Maintenance Intern to join Harris County Precinct 4. The intern will perform various manual tasks crucial to maintaining and repairing roads, bridges, and easements within the precinct.

Responsibilities
Cleans ditches and culverts of brush, trash, and rubbish
Trims overhanging branches and bushes
Patches potholes with asphalt and repairs concrete sidewalks
Picks up trash along roadways and rights-of-way
Uses shovels, rakes, weed eaters, and other equipment
Qualification
Required
Must have completed at least one (1) year of high school education
Must have a valid ID
Needs reliable transportation to and from work
Honest and trustworthiness
Punctuality
Ability to exhibit strong work ethic
Respectful of all living beings, places, and things
Flexibility to manage time and prioritization of projects
Preferred
Resident of Harris County Precinct 4
