Engineer I
Quantum Global Technologies, LLC is a leader in the semiconductor industry, seeking an Engineer I to support manufacturing operations. The role involves developing process documentation, optimizing workflows, and ensuring product quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline build procedures and implement engineering changes.

Responsibilities
Requires a broad knowledge of Manufacturing Practices, Assembly Prints, Bill of Materials to be able to create Manufacturing ready documentation such as S.O.E.’s (Sequence of Events) and Assembly Process Workflow
Provides technical direction and on-the-job training to production staff
Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates the Manufacturing Engineer portion of the system build
Prepares and/or modifies work instructions, BOM structures, and training curriculum
Ensures proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on projects
Requires contact with Customers, vendor representatives. Attends and participates in Customer meetings
Confers with engineers, technicians, customers, and others to discuss best practices in an effort to streamline build processes and procedures
Inspects completed systems; partners with Manufacturing and Quality organizations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
Supports project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget
Investigates customer or internal issues determines the nature and extent of the problem and recommends corrective actions
Assists in cost estimations and development of capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs
Evaluates and process Engineering Change Orders
Performs other duties as required

Required

Familiarity with semiconductor capital equipment
Knowledge of electronic Work Instruction software is a plus (i.e., Sequence)
ERP System Software
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite, emphasis in Excel
Prior experience leading small teams to achieve project success
Good interpersonal skills: ability to work alone or in a team environment
Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Manufacturing, or related field preferred with 1 year of experience in related manufacturing/ production position; or Associate of Arts (AA) in a technical field with more than 2 years of manufacturing experience
Work Experience: 2+ years related experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
Working knowledge of quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment
Preferred
