Cultural Education Administrative Specialist (FT)
NEOGOV is seeking a Cultural Education Administrative Specialist to manage all aspects of classes and camps at Parker Arts Education. The role includes supporting the Education Manager with program development, scheduling, and operations while serving as the primary contact for patrons and instructors.

Responsibilities
Serves as patron and instructor point of contact for Parker Arts Education
Supports the Education Manager in planning and delivering cultural enrichment classes, camps, and workshops by soliciting, evaluating, coordinating, and scheduling vendors and part-time cultural instructors
Manages classes and school-break camps; monitors program status, manages vendor and instructor communication and coordination, maintains class rosters and emergency/medical information, oversees onsite operations, procedures, and incident management
Administers class registration system; creates and manages class registration, processes transfers and refunds, monitors class statuses, tracks attendance and opens wait lists, generates reports, performs year-end processing, adds and trains new users on registration procedures
Responds to inquiries via phone, in person, or in writing, and prepares correspondence to address requests for information, complaints, and other matters related to public communication
Communicates class status to vendors, instructors, patrons, and staff as needed
Processes vendor contracts and payments and creates financial reports as needed
Manages classroom and equipment scheduling at PACE Center and The Schoolhouse
Manages class rosters; prepares, distributes, collects, and tracks attendance for annual reporting
Provides copy to marketing for the use in promotional materials, social media, the website, and other platforms as directed; updates content on the website and within registration software as needed
Manages outreach booths at local and relevant special events
May assist in creating and developing educational programs
May instruct and lead classroom programs
Ensures activity rules, policies, and safety procedures are followed; reports safety incidents as they occur
Coordinates staffing and tasks with Education Assistant as necessary
Procures program supplies as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Requires two (2) years of experience in an administrative, clerical, and/or customer service position
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Driver's License issued by the State of Colorado for the type of vehicle or equipment operated; safe driving record and a minimum of two (2) years of driving history
Ability to obtain the following certifications within six (6) months of hire: CPR and First Aid Certification
Knowledge of relevant town, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies
Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
Skill in verbal and written communication
Skill in project management, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive initiatives to completion
Skill in organization and attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
Skill in the use of computers and various software programs
Skill in the provision of customer service and the ability to respond effectively to inquiries/complaints
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions
Ability to be self-motivated, take initiative, and learn quickly
Ability to work independently and problem-solve with minimal supervision
Ability to interact comfortably with students of all ages, including young children, and their parents
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as workload demands
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

A bachelor's degree and experience working in course management and programming, preferred
