Mid, Senior LevelThe Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a Product Owner II to execute the strategic direction and continuous improvement of AI products. This role involves managing product deliverables, consulting with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with internal AI governance standards.

Responsibilities
Understand how to compete and differentiate in product delivery
Build the right foundations to create and scale differentiated experiences
Plan, manage, and drive applications for success in meeting product experience goals
Manage backlog of product deliverables, and groom according to learnings from qualitative and quantitative sources and in alignment with organizational goals
Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications and designs for solutions
Ensure all products meet internal AI governance and compliance standards by routing applicable tools through the AI Assurance Lab for risk evaluation, model card documentation, and performance monitoring
Advising leadership on the technology portfolio within and sometimes outside of a product area of focus
Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and directions, business systems and requirements to conduct independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements
Understanding the long-term business objectives and proposes technology strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology
Mentor and coach junior product owners or cross-functional partners
Influence without direct authority across engineering, data science, design, operations, and compliance
Drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders with competing priorities
Qualification
Required
Deep understanding of existing capabilities and the broader AI marketplace (commercial vendor tools, Epic-integrated features, and emerging digital and AI innovations)
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage backlog of product deliverables and groom according to learnings from qualitative and quantitative sources
Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications and designs for solutions
Ensure all products meet internal AI governance and compliance standards
