Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day work of regulatory analysts by assigning projects, providing feedback, and ensuring critical event deadlines are met
Prepare and submit expert oral and written testimony
Coordinate and work with outside expert consultants retained to prepare expert witness testimony
Develop and present written and oral reports or technical memos for the Washington Utilities and Trade Commission (WUTC) and other government agencies, industry and consumer and public interest groups on complex issues

Required

A Bachelor's degree involving major study in economics, accounting, business or public administration, finance, social sciences, engineering, law or related field
Four years of professional research or analysis experience with an institution engaged primarily in regulatory matters
Three years doing regulatory analysis for Washington state government, one year of which must have been at the second level or equivalent
An advanced degree in one of the fields listed above will substitute for one year of the desired experience
Perform and coordinate complex research and analysis
Supervise the day-to-day work of regulatory analysts by assigning projects, providing feedback, and ensuring critical event deadlines are met
Prepare and submit expert oral and written testimony
Coordinate and work with outside expert consultants retained to prepare expert witness testimony
