Grants Coordinator II
NEOGOV is focused on maximizing reimbursable funds into the County through effective grant management. The Grants Coordinator II will work with Federal and State representatives to ensure compliance with grant regulations and support various grant-funded projects.

Responsibilities
Works with state and federal agencies to support compliance with applicable grant regulations
Provides support for grant-funded projects and assists with day-to-day grant management activities to ensure local, state, federal, and private requirements are met
Maintains working relationships and communications with contractors, grant administrators, homeowners, vendors, and county departments
Assists with grant compliance and recordkeeping for assigned programs
Assists in preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required by grant programs
Supports civil rights and fair housing compliance monitoring and documentation
Assists with coordination of environmental review activities by supporting communication with third-party environmental review contractors
Performs basic financial tracking tasks including monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and assisting with reimbursement documentation
Provides support for Labor Standards compliance activities, including assisting with Davis-Bacon documentation and file monitoring
Assists with procurement activities including preparing solicitation support documents and maintaining procurement records
Provides support during bidding processes, including organizing wage determinations, independent cost estimate documentation, and contractor meeting materials
Assists with construction monitoring activities by supporting documentation, photo logs, and field records
Participates in site visits and meetings with contractors, vendors, and agency personnel as required
Assists with real property acquisition documentation and file coordination
Maintains force account labor documentation including timekeeping records, equipment logs, and material tracking
Assists with preparation of closeout documentation including checklists, draft reports, and required retention materials
Provides support in the development and submission of grant applications
Assists in identifying potential project areas and compiling beneficiary data
Assists with beneficiary data collection and documentation
Reviews project budgets, scopes of work, and schedules for completeness and organization
Prepares draft agenda items and supporting documentation for public meetings and Commissioners Court
Assists with review of contractor invoices and construction documents for completeness
Assists with logging and tracking homeowner match payments for grant-funded housing projects
Prepares draft contract documents and organizes supporting documentation
Maintains organized project and program files including warranties and homeowner records
Tracks, logs, and routes applicant complaints and inquiries for resolution
Performs other related work as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in social work, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required
Experience in public or private sector management, administration, or grant management is preferred
An equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
