Transportation
Responsibilities
Communicates with other departments to document and coordinate the disposition of non-conforming parts
Performs first article inspections on new product including both purchased and manufactured parts
Assists Quality Engineers with quality investigations
Inspects products to ensure conformity to specifications
Supports quality initiatives with plant floor activities
Maintains organization and cleanliness in the inspection area
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
At least one year of experience in assembly or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Familiarization with the products, processes, and personnel at the Ooltewah facility
Ability to use basic hand tools for measurement and minor assembly/disassembly
Ability to read engineering drawings
Familiarization with ISO 9001 requirements
