They are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer I to manage IT help desk submissions, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support staff in a dynamic commercial environment.

Responsibilities
Managing submissions to the IT help desk, including investigation and classification
Coding and maintaining scripts to support data and equipment processes
Troubleshooting and solving both hardware and software issues
Supporting staff and new hire accounts and ensuring security protocols are followed
Installing, reconfiguring, repairing, reimaging and redeploying computer hardware and software
Qualification
Required
Two or more years of IT support experience covering help disk operations, computer workstation hardware and software installation and maintenance, coding scripts, networking, and documentation is required
Proven strong troubleshooting skills in information technology applications
Experience with Linux operating systems required; ability to administer OSX systems would be considered a plus
Python and BASH fluency is required; experience with SQL and PHP would be considered a plus
Proven ability to troubleshoot issues with Office 365 and Google application suites
Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting your work, writing technical reports, and documenting code in a manner that is understandable to other technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated strong analytical problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical fields would be considered a plus
Ability to administer OSX systems would be considered a plus
Experience with SQL and PHP would be considered a plus
Management of ESXi VMWare instances would be considered a plus
