Responsibilities

The Financial Management Contract Closeout Support, Journeyman shall assist by independently conducting financial analysis/activities on closed contracts

Assist in gathering, assembling, and analyzing source of factual information, such as that found in various accounting systems and reports

Assist in preparing charts and reports related to the obligations and expenditures of funds

Assist in the contract reconciliation, identifying unliquidated obligation (ULO)on contract, and resolving discrepancies between financial/accounting systems. The Contractor shall assist in closing contracts and clearing ULOs

Assist in verifying the accuracy of all data inputs from the financial systems against the government contract and F-16 weapon system prime/sub-Contractor documentation and, effectively, verbally and in writing, communicate issues to Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and Contractors and follow-up to ensure corrective action is made

Required

Minimum of an active Secret security clearance

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be Financial Management Contract Close Out Supporting the DoD

OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD
