They are seeking a Manufacturing Cost Estimator / Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate customer prints, build cost models, and support process planning for new and existing products while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Review customer prints, models, specifications, and requirements to create accurate cost estimates and routings

Build cost models for metal stampings, welded assemblies, laser-cut parts, and machined components

Determine material utilization, nesting strategies, tonnage requirements, and scrap factors

Analyze cycle times, setup times, labor content, tooling needs, and machine utilization

Collaborate with tool and die makers, process engineers, and operations leadership to validate assumptions

Support the development of process plans, routings, and standard work documentation

Participate in design-for-manufacturability reviews and recommend cost-efficient alternatives

Maintain costing standards and improve quoting accuracy over time

Support APQP, PPAP, and new product introduction activities

Engage with leadership on key programs and customer opportunities
