Communications & Network Support Specialist
Preferred Business Systems, Inc. has been a leader in office automation and IT services since 1997. We are seeking a knowledgeable Communications & Network Support Specialist to join our team, responsible for maintaining and supporting our clients’ network infrastructure and communication systems to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Coordinate the setup and deployment of Ricoh multifunction printers (MFPs) with client networks
Partner with client IT teams to ensure proper network configuration, security compliance, and device communication
Troubleshoot printing, scanning, and network connectivity issues
Install, configure, and support all client-facing software solutions
Provide remote and onsite technical support for print, scan, and workflow applications
Diagnose and resolve software-related issues efficiently to minimize client downtime
Implement and manage the EKM Predictive Insight Data Collection Agent (DCA)
Monitor device health, meter reads, and toner levels to ensure accurate and timely replenishment
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve DCA connectivity or reporting issues
Support Preferred Talk VoIP services, including client setup, onboarding, and ongoing account support
Assist with VoIP migrations, configuration changes, and troubleshooting
Serve as a technical escalation point for VoIP-related issues
Assist the sales team with quotes and proposals for print, software, and VoIP solutions
Support client onboarding by ensuring all systems are properly configured and operational
Act as a liaison between sales, service, and clients to ensure smooth implementations and positive customer experiences
Qualification
Required
Knowledgeable in maintaining and supporting network infrastructure and communication systems
Experience in coordinating the setup and deployment of Ricoh multifunction printers (MFPs) with client networks
Ability to partner with client IT teams for proper network configuration, security compliance, and device communication
Proficient in troubleshooting printing, scanning, and network connectivity issues
Experience in installing, configuring, and supporting client-facing software solutions
Ability to provide remote and onsite technical support for print, scan, and workflow applications
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving software-related issues efficiently
Experience in implementing and managing the EKM Predictive Insight Data Collection Agent (DCA)
Ability to monitor device health, meter reads, and toner levels for replenishment
Experience in supporting Preferred Talk VoIP services, including client setup and ongoing account support
Ability to assist with VoIP migrations, configuration changes, and troubleshooting
Experience in assisting sales teams with quotes and proposals for print, software, and VoIP solutions
